Ileen “I” Campana

November 11, 1941 - October 7, 2020

Ileen “I” Campana, age 78, of Port Richey, FL, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2020 at Marliere Hospice House. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from James Madison High School. She was a Payroll/HR Administrator. Ileen met her husband, James, while working at First Investors Corp, Manhatten, NY. In 2005, she retired from her most recent position at Zinsser, Somerset, NJ. Ileen was an avid gardener, spending hours planting and maintaining her beautiful flowers. She loved trips to the casino, her cat, Cilla, Parrot, Preston and she never met a Hallmark movie she didn’t like! She had a heart of gold and deeply loved her family and friends. Ileen is survived by her husband, James Campana; her sons, Michael Stanford and Edward Stanford; her daughter, Lorraine Hazzard (Edwin); siblings, Rhoda Cappola and George Kropp; grandchildren, Edward (Lindsay), Brandi (William), Stephanie (Anthony), Dana (Anthony), Samantha, and James; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Kylie, Noah, Audrey, and Lucas; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Renee Kropp, and her sibling, Marilyn Miller. A memorial service will be planned at a future date.
