Dale Robert Gallagher
Spring Hill, Florida
Dale Gallagher, 55, of Spring Hill, Florida died Sunday July15, 2012 at Bay Pines VA, Hospice Palliative Care Unit with his loving family and friends by his side.
He was born on November 26, 1956 in Detroit, MI, the eldest child of Robert and Pauline (Ruth) Gallagher. He is survived by his son, Jesse; daughter in law, Nicole; grandson, Calvin; Jesse’s sisters Jill and Jodi who lived in Michigan. Also his family in Florida; brother David; sisters Linda Sanford and Janet Gallagher.
As a young man, Dale worked as a Facility Maintenance Technician at Heritage Pines Country Club, Hudson FL. Dale enjoyed working with his fellow employees as well as the residence. He proudly served with the United States Navy, Aboard the USS Radford, during 1973 and was honorably discharged in December, 1978. Dale was a member of The Christian Church in the Wildwood, and received his certificate of completion for “Cornerstone Life Experience Mentor Training” August 21, 2011. Dale’s closest friend Buddy Palmer has always been there for Dale keeping him involved with activities, Boating, Diving and Karate. Buddy spent allot of his time throughout his sickness and helping Dale have positive days as his illness was weakening him.
Dale Gallagher also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; to whom he was very close to; Nephew, Vincent Fugett of Clearwater, nephew, Kerry Jones, niece Danielle McGrath, great nephew Dustin, niece Denise & Josh; great niece Lily Gardner; nephew David; niece Deidre.  He also leaves behind: Loving Janice; MD Smith; and Earl that spent many nights at his bedside with him throughout his illness. He also leaves behind many other family members, countless good friends and neighbors.
Dale’s greatest and best times were always spent with family and friends. He loved to go on Cruises, boating, fishing, hunting and diving or any other outdoor activities.
Dale loved to play the guitar, Christian music enthusiast who loved to always listen to music when he needed a boost. Dale would suggest many spiritual songs if he knew you were in pain. Dale also shared many books and movies with messages from the lord. His favorite “The Five People You Meet In Heaven”….
Service will begin:
Saturday July, 21, 2012 @ 2 p.m. Saturday at Church in the Wild Wood, 10051 Country Road Weekie Wachee, FL 34613.

    My Loving Brother, I Miss you dearly….I know you’re looking down upon me and that will comfort some of my pain. I will always cherish our last days together at Hospice. I know you are in a glorious place and your pains are lifted. You are the best brother a sister could have. Thank you for always being there for me. I love for ever and ever, Janet

    Janet, Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family at this most difficult time. I have such fond memories of Dale taking little Vinnie fishing, and them having so much fun, he was such a kind and thoughtful person, I will always remember. Heaven has another angel, he will always be by your side, I feel your pain, please know we are here for you and love you, Love Cheryl & Autumn
